Here n = 100, which is even. Therefore, the median will be the average of 50th and 51th observations. We proceed as follows :
From the above table, we se that : 50th observation = 28 and 51th observation = 29 So, Median = ½(28 + 29) = 28.5 Median of a grouped data :-
