Keshari ICSE / ISC eBooks Median, Quartile and Mode Median :- Median is a measure of central tendency which gives the value of middle-most observation in the data. To find the median of ungrouped data, we first arrange the data values of observation in ascending order. Then, if number of observation, n is odd, the median is the (n+1)/2th observation. And, if n is even, the the median will be average of the n/2th and the (n/2 + 1)th observations.
